BONNIE GEHRKING-MILAND Obituary (2020)

Bonnie lived the perfect dog life. She had the freedom to run on a hobby farm in MN --yet had the indoors whenever she pleased. Bonnie was a stray that showed up at Phil and Donna’s home in 2007 after a bad flood and they think she was about two years old. Not too long after they took her in, they realized she was pregnant. She had a large litter of puppies that were adopted to MN and IL families. Bonnie got her name because Phil and Donna had Clyde, the wiener dog. Bonnie and Clyde became a pair of double trouble running the farm life. Bonnie was a great dog; she was wonderful with the grand-kids and loved going on adventures. Though she was slowing down in her old age of 15ish--it didn’t stop her from doing her usual routine of checking the fence line and her usual route to the woods. Bonnie will be missed by her family, neighbors, and dog companion Buck.
